Review: Tata Harper Clarifying Mask.

by Katie Machia

Growing up, I was surrounded by tall trees, green grass, and an endless supply of fresh air. I would wake up in the morning with a clean face and hit the pillow at night with the same clear skin, minimal products required. Seriously, I used close to nothing on my face and was worry-free.

I was awaken from that clear-skin, dream life when I stepped out of JFK and into a blanket of pollution. Almost immediately my skin felt dewy, and not in the cute freshed-face way, but more in the “Is this girl okay? She looks like she’s about to pass out” way. As I looked for my Uber in a sea of other cars, I could feel the contaminated city air seeping deep into my pores, killing any sign of what used to be clear skin.

"I noticed my face revert back to its natural state pretty quickly. I felt like I was in my 17-year-old upstate skin again."

Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for something that will suck the nasty city air straight from my skin. That’s why I was super excited when I stumbled upon the Tata Harper Clarifying Mask. I’ve tried some pretty awful products that left me thinking that moving back to the woods in the middle of nowhere would be my only option.

After a few uses, I noticed my face revert back to its natural state pretty quickly. I felt like I was in my 17-year-old upstate skin again. This mask is designed to clear up any imperfections on your face and you can feel the enzymatic peel effect working to clear breakouts and redness. Superfruits, and all the other good stuff you always hear about, helped refine the appearance of my pores. Even better, Tata Harper threw in some essential vitamins to nourish and hydrate.

To use this mask, apply a thick layer on the face (and your neck for a bonus!). Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then give your face a nice little massage with warm water to rinse off. Don’t forget to wave goodbye to the pollutants as they swirl down the drain.
